Well, the poll isn't officially closed, but we have decided to do the "get together/Birthday Party" on Monday night @ 6pm. It will be at my parents house in Lehi, so if you need directions please let me know. Hope to see you there!!

Utah or BUST
There are only two more days before we head out to Utah & I am SO excited to see everyone & have fun trick-or-treating with the girls. I am planning on having a birthday party for Brinley and thought that would also be a good time for everyone to be able to get together & visit. I want to be sure that most of you can come, so please take the little "poll" so that I will know the best night to do it. I am happy to try and get together with anyone who wants a one on one also, but I would feel horrible if I didn't get to see all of you, so the birthday party is a way that I can hopefully get to see everyone. Please don't feel obligated to bring a gift, just come and have some cake!Here is a little itinerary of our trip: (Matt teased me for doing this, but oh well!@)

Snow Day!
We woke up on Sunday to a winter wonderland & it was really fun to get a taste of winter. Snow is fun, but I get tired of it real fast & I have heard that the winters here in Denver can get pretty bad. Luckily it is still warm enough that all the snow has pretty much melted & we were able to enjoy our little taste of early winter.
Trinity thought the snow was pretty amazing, and I think this is the first time that she has actually been out in it for very long. I feel bad that she is almost 3 and hasn't experienced Snow very much!
She was having So much fun shoveling snow that she didn't want to come inside. I wish this picture turned out a little better of her pouty face. She doesn't usually pout, instead she screams and throws a fit!! Maybe she is finally realizing that temper tantrums don't help?

I got her the dust pan from inside & she followed right behind Matt at first & then set off on her own to shovel snow. She actually did a pretty good job!

I've Been Tagged! (Three times actually)
Yes, I have been tagged three times now and I haven't posted from the first one because I am having a hard time remembering all of the details. So, Danica...look for that post in a few days. :) The other two people that tagged me were Sara and Anna, but luckily for me they tagged me about the same thing, so here goes...
The rules:

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
1. I love watching the Food Network channel & could pretty much watch it at any time -day or night. I would love to be as skilled in the kitchen as the people on there are, but for now I will just live through them! hehe
2. If I knew I could pull it off I would get a pixie hair cut. I had long hair through most of Jr High, High School, and College. I am now sporting a much shorter "do" but I would really love to CHOP it short so that I could wash, style & be ready in 15 minutes!!-Yea, I am a Mom.
3. My favorite type of food is Mexican & I am always game for something to eat from Taco Bell. My favorite menu items are currently: Mexican Pizza, Chicken Quesadilla, or a Nacho Cheese Chalupa. (I can't go without mentioning that I also love potatoes and could eat them in some form for every meal!!)
4. I want to go to Disney Land SO BAD! I have been to Disney Land a few times, but never for a very long period of time, so there are a lot of rides and things there that I have never experienced. Matt hasn't ever been there and that gives me even more reason to go, so that he can see how great it is! The child in me sometimes out weighs the adult in me though, because I don't think Matt is very concerned about never having been.
5. I have a small, but very meaningful collection of Willow Tree figurines. So far they have all been gifts & I love that I can look at them remember who gave them to me and know that they each had a special reason why I received them. It is like having a little collection of my friends and family sitting on the shelf reminding me that they care about me. (Thanks for adding to my collection Shan! It was a great B-Day surprise!!)
6. I always sound sick-most of you should already know this, but maybe you are used to it just like I am. My nose is always partially stuffy & I don't go for more than a day without audibly scratching my throat/ears. I went to an allergy specialist about a year ago & found out that I am allergic to all types of grass, all types of dust, most all trees, horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, but don't worry-no molds! So-I was all set up to start a 5 year series of shots that would hopefully eliminate most of these allergens. Then, we moved to Denver-so now I have to get into another specialist & wait for my records to get transferred....oh well, I guess I will have to "sound sick" a little longer.

Less than a week!
About a month ago I made a countdown chain for Trinity because she was having a hard time grasping when we would be going to see Grandma and Grandpa again. I was going to take a picture of it after we finished because it was HUGE! (but I forgot) I was worried that she might be a little dissapointed to see so many links, but the only thing she cared about was the fact that I let her raid my old scrapbook stickers to decorate it. Today we finally got down to the last week & She and Brinley are both very excited that we are going on a trip to Utah!!

Brandon's Scrapbook
Our family draws names for Christmas each year & I drew Brandon's name. I had NO idea what to get for him & usually try to think of a meaningful gift. I remembered him asking me a few years back if I would scrapbook all of his pictures for him & I told him that I would. Well, I never did, so I decided that I 
would keep that promise for his Christmas gift. It turns out that I am a slacker & didn't even get his pictures from him & Christmas was quickly approaching. I asked Kellie to "sneak" his pictures & bring them to me so that I could wrap them with a written promise that I would scrapbook them. So here we are TEN months later & I am FINALLY starting on his gift. It is much harder to scrapbook for someone else than it is for yourself. This is my first page & I didn't do any journaling because I don't know what he would like put with these pics. I think I will make a coordinating page that he can free hand some journaling onto and put it in the scrapbook with this page. I have also been looking for some more masculine digital scrap supplies, so if you know of anywhere please let me know. My goal is to have most of his pictures done by the time we come for a visit in Oct, but I will be surpirsed if that actually happens. Lets face it, ten months to even get started, the odds aren't in my favor!! It is a good thing that I have such a patient, loving, and kind brother. Good Guy!

Harry Potter
So...as most of you may know I am a Harry Potter fan & yes I have read the final book. I loved it and don't worry I won't give anything away to spoil it for those of you who haven't read it yet. I saw this video clip on Anna's blog & thought it was so funny. I watch it when ever I need a laugh. Trinity will watch it with me and sing, "snape, snape, snever-is snape, gundle-door!" She hasn't quite figured out the correct way to say their names, but I don't ever correct her because it is so cute! I hope you'll be able to get some enjoyment from it too-because, it always feels good to laugh. P.S. You will want to go to the bottom of my blog and pause the music before you watch. First Cake
So I have been taking this Wilton Cake decorating class & this is my first cake. We didn't get to choose what we wanted to do other than picking out colors. If we had a choice I REALLY wouldn't have done a rainbow cake! I was hoping it would turn out a little better, but my hand was getting SO tired towards the half way point-what a wimp! I get to make another 
cake tomorrow & it will be equally cheesy in design. Two frosting made clowns will be sitting on the top & the plastic heads could creep any child right out! Oh well, all in the name of practice I guess. I am looking forward to taking the next class levels that are offered so that I will be able to make some more impressive cakes in the future. For now I will have to stick to the more simple designs. Who knows maybe I 
will use my new found skills on Brinley's birthday cake at the end of the month. One of my favorite things about taking this class is that I have an excuse to leave the house ALONE for 3 whole hours!! I will tell all of you mothers out there that this is probably the best thing you can do for your family. It is really easy to get so caught up in taking care of everyone else, and it is really important that you take the time to do things for yourself. (Even small things) I know that for me it is a way to stay sane & when I am sane my family is much happier. hehe, so thanks again Matt for a great birthday present!

I have decided that I need to become better at posting at least once a week & not worrying about having a page scrapped in order to post. I figured that since I have done a page of Trinity I would do a page of Brinley & then I would feel better about posting more "raw" pics. So here is miss Brinley's page.
