Denver Temple

These aren't exactly the expressions I was going for, but sometimes you have to take what you can get. At least they aren't crying & I will have to crop Matt's hand out of the picture-Ooops!

People are starting to say that Brinley looks just like Matt

Trinity repeatedly told us that she did NOT want to swim in that water. Thank goodness!

Trinity looking at the Denver Temple

Today was such a beautiful day & I talked Matt into driving to the Denver Temple so we could walk around the Temple grounds for a while. (I secretly wanted to take some cute pictures, but if I would have come right out and said it like that I would have been shot down in an instant!) Luckily my plan worked and when we got there I was able to take some really fun pictures & since I haven't had a chance to scrap them yet I will put them on raw until I get a chance.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

My parents had a great idea that we should get webcams, so we both got them & Trinity likes to record videos that we can send to them in an email. This one was too big to send, so I figured I would put it on here for them to see. The sound isn't matching up with the picture for some reason though! Oh well, We love you & miss you G-ma & G-pa!!

Hail Storm

It is so wierd that some pages can take just a few minutes to throw together, and others can take hours. I played with this one forever & really liked how it turned out. I am hoping to do another page to go with it so I can show the other pics and tell a little bit about the photos. Wow, I am quickly becoming addicted to digital scrapbooking!

Birthday Girl

Well, in about fifteen minutes my 27th birthday will officially be over & have to say it has been a memorable day! I don't feel as old as I am, but I guess that is a good thing-I will be happy knowing that I am only as old as I feel, and today I feel 17!! (even though I have 2 kids!!) It was a beautiful day for a birthday; blue skies, light breeze, and my husband and two girls spending the whole day with me. We carried on for most of the day as we would any regular saturday & then after dinner Matt & the girls layed the gifts on me! I got some really fun stuff & was shocked to see that Matt ordered a rifle for me (just like the ones we used in C.G. in High School) I am real rusty at any cool tricks, but am so excited to have it!! He also signed me up for the Wilton cake decorating class at Michaels & I am SOOO super excited to start learning how to make beautiful cakes! Mostly I am happy that I have a wonderful husband who cares about me and two beautiful daughters who bring happines into my life. I often forget how lucky I am & now that we are out here in Denver I feel like I am starting to appreciate my little family even more. Thanks for a great day guys!! PS. I will post some pics from my big day soon!

Trinity

Trinity is still my fire cracker child, and gives me a run for my money almost every day! She has got more determination than she knows what to do with and I have to remind myself that when she gets older that will be a good thing. She is starting to speak so clearly and having conversations with her is often the highlight of my day. I noticed that she calls Brinley a, "Silly Woman", and I have no idea where she got that. I am assuming she came up with it herself. She has had a hard time moving away from Grandma and Grandpa and asks me almost every other day if we can go do to thier house. I try to explain to her that they are far away, but she insists that I take her to see them. Talking to them on the phone helps for a while, but I know that she is going to be so happy to see them when we go out for a visit. Trinity loves to sing, dance, play with her babies, go swimming, and play with our neighbors. She also has a new favorite show that we have watched so many times that the whole family has the entire show memorized!! Trinity loves going to nursery so that she can play with her firends and learn about Heavenly Father. She still thinks that one of these Sundays she will find Grandma sitting in a pew waiting for us. It is cute but also makes me feel a little sad that she is missing Grandma so much. We are looking for a webcam so we can see Grandma and Grandpa whenever we want, so if you have any pointers on a good one let us know.

Brinley

Brinley is changing so much and she will already be turning one on Oct 28th. She loves to climb the stairs, even though she can't climb down, and gets so mad when I put the child gate in her way. She still has her two little bottom teeth and uses them happily to eat crackers, cheerios, and any other food that she can get her hands on. She still refuses to eat any type of baby food that isn't a fruit, but every once in a while I will sneek some sweet potatoes into the menu! She loves taking baths or going to the swimming pool so that she can splash around. The last time we went to the pool she got mad when I took her out, so I took her back in and while I was holding her she fell asleep. I guess she didn't want to miss out on any pool time. Brinley loves to bother Trinity and will follow her around until Trinity tries to pick her up, and then she crawls as fast as she can the other direction looking for mom to rescue her. Brinley has only been crawling for about a month but now she is interested in walking, so we will see if her days of crawling last much longer. If not then Trinity is in big trouble!! I am sure that Brinley is planning her revenge.

Starting Up

I hope that by now all of you know that we are no longer living in Utah. We moved to Denver, CO on the 28th of July and I can't believe that a month has already gone by. There have been so many new changes, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to find out that our normal photosite was shutting down. I am hoping to get this blog figured out and be able to use it just as much as used photosite. I can't promise that it will be pretty, but I will try to update it often. I love looking at all of our friends' blogs and hope that ours can be enjoyable to look at too.
